About The Position

The Loan Servicing Specialist (Admin) will be responsible for performing tasks which support the Loan Servicing division.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Accurately document accounts with any pertinent information and/or updates.
  • Prepare and submit payment deferment and due date change correspondence.
  • Initiate repossession efforts on designated accounts.
  • Communicate with repossession agents to provide new information and obtain updates on assignments.
  • Responsible for following up on the impound notifications.
  • Prepare and submit the impound documents for invoicing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in the finance industry, preferably in the subprime consumer or auto lending industry.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state and local collections regulations.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
