About The Position

The Funder will be responsible for reviewing and verifying automobile loan applications and communicating with loan applicants and dealerships regarding the loan application process.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews, employment and residence verification for loan applicants.
  • Review loan applications, clarify and obtain additional information as needed.
  • Verify loan application information by ordering credit, employment, and earnings reports; mail verification forms; and contact verification sources.
  • Create and maintain loan application files and database.
  • Maintain customer confidence by keeping all loan information confidential.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the loan processing/funding field, preferably in the auto finance industry.
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
