About The Position

The Legal Assistant will provide support to the Legal department by performing various administrative duties, including but not limited to conducting audits, investigating facts, and preparing legal documents. The Legal Assistant will also be responsible for assisting with special projects as assigned, litigation, civil procedure, and collections on an as needed basis.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents such as including briefs, pleadings, and appeals in paper and/or electronic filing systems.
  • Responsible for obtaining out-of-state licensing and the maintenance of corporate records.
  • Research, gather, and analyze data such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents
  • Calendar, photocopy, file/image.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation files.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Proofread/edit documents. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
