About The Position

The Dealer Buyback Specialist will be responsible for managing the buyback process, including notices and all follow up with involved parties.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain business relationships with existing dealers.
  • Responsible for communicating with Dealer Marketing Representatives, Branch Managers, Dealers, etc. in order to facilitate the buyback process.
  • Conduct preliminary study to assess the buyback process by reviewing requirements and specifications to ensure they are in line with business objectives.
  • Manage high-level projects related to buybacks, including gathering the required information, identifying deliverables, drafting reports, revising reports as needed, obtaining appropriate approvals, publishing reports and maintaining historical files.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in the auto lending industry. A background in Marketing or Collections is preferred but not required.
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with customers and clients in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
