About The Position

The Title Specialist will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of registration and title documents for funded loans. In addition, they will act as a service provider for internal and external customers regarding title release requests and perform other title related responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and process all DMV related materials such as Certificates of Title, Vehicle Lien Registrations, Duplicate Titles and Title corrections including handling incoming correspondence.
  • Manage an assigned daily report of title releases.
  • Communicate with dealerships, vendors and DMV's to resolve issues such as outstanding, overdue, and pending titles.
  • Open claim investigations with DMV states due to inaccurate information.
  • Ensure that all registration and title information is accurately entered in the appropriate databases.
  • Provide excellent service and respond to customer requests, both internal and external, regarding account statuses, title or registration issues.
  • Build effective working relationships with customers, dealers, and other supporting departments to facilitate interdepartmental coordination and communication.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to increase department productivity and efficiency.
  • Other duties assigned. 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience. 
  • Preferred DMV title handling experience.
  • Strong multi state knowledge of DMV title processes and electronic lien title programming.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule and some Saturdays.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $23.50 per hour
