The Remarketing Operation Specialist - Auction will be responsible monitoring inventory, preparing vehicles for sale at auction, to maximize our return on repossessed vehicles.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage the Remarketing inventory by reviewing reports, monitoring auction performance, and implementing sales strategies with the auctions to maximize performance and increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local industry rules and regulations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to assess condition and necessary repairs.
• Attend all auction sales to ensure vehicles are on the block, washed and detailed for the best sales return.
• Properly document account information including but not limited to redemptions, legal sale date, title status, and holds.
• Coordinate transportation and prepare vehicles for sale at auto auctions.
• Provide estimated value on vehicles that have not been repossessed to ensure that its in the best interest of the company to recover vehicle.
• Facilitate open communication with the auctions on their sales performances, metrics and service level agreements.
• Prepare activity reports and special reports as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Remarketing experience in the auto finance industry (non-prime or sub-prime).
• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
• Available to work a flexible work schedule and some Saturdays.
• Strong leadership skills such as critical thinking, planning and organizing, decision making and delegation with the ability to manage vendors.
• Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Travel wil be required
• Highschool degree or GED
