The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing daily cash operations, liquidity forecasting, and working capital to ensure sufficient funding for business operations. The role supports strategic financial planning through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making. Additionally, the position assists with securitizations, warehouse line management, and capital market activities, including ABS funding and reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal controls, lender requirements, and regulatory standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead daily cash management and liquidity forecasting, ensuring adequate funding for operations and minimum balance requirements.
- Maintain driver-based financial models, supporting monthly forecasts, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario forecasting.
- Prepare monthly service reports, improving accuracy and timeliness for warehouse and investor reporting.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly funding requests to warehouse lenders, ensuring accuracy of collateral data and conformity with borrowing base requirements.
- Prepare monthly FP&A support to departments by preparing variance analyses, updating departmental forecasts, and providing financial insights to guide decision-making.
- Prepare the monthly budget and analyze key drivers, identifying variances and opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Assist in executing new securitizations by supporting data preparation and documentation.
- Assist in warehouse line renewals by updating collateral performance data, reviewing eligibility criteria, and supporting lender due diligence.
- Assist with audits, policy documentation, and process improvements to strengthen treasury and FP&A governance.
- Collect and provide data for Rating Agencies and other parties as directed.
- Investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in treasury or related finance roles, preferably within auto finance.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range financial planning methodologies.
- Familiarity with ABS funding structures, including warehouse lines, auto ABS, and securitization mechanics.
- Working knowledge of capital markets, including debt instruments, funding strategies, and hedging considerations.
- Ability to review and interpret complex financial documentation, create and analyze cash flow and fair value models, and understand financial statements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally, tactfully, and collaboratively across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Advanced quantitative and financial analysis skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience, or equivalent work experience.
Salary: $99,000.00 - $119,000.00 annually
